Glimpse #23: The Sound of Silence
Robu lifted his eyes from the screen of the laptop as he heard the front door softly close behind Rizu. She stood still for moment before she pulled away and looked at him with a hint of sadness in her eyes. She had just returned from visiting her parents in Roganu, and from the way she staring and how quiet she was, he knew it was not a pleasant visit and that her mother had something to do with it.
He knew better than to ask her the obvious, and he was sure she was ready to rant if he gave her the chance. Instead, he closed his laptop, placed it on the coffee table in front of him, and then looked back at Rizu in silent invitation.
It did not take long for his message to reach to her. She took the empty cushion next to him and curled up against him to collect her thoughts. He, in return, wrapped his left arm around her and held her without saying a word.
Even in moments of silence, he still loved her.

Well, another challenge idea spawned on me the other day, and I ended up writing a one-shot fan fic for my own series! XD
Challenge: A 100+ word challenge that spotlights a couple from the Angelic Guardians or Demonic Guardians series. No more than 500 words. Pairings can be canon or fandom. Slash and femslash are acceptable.
Well, my personal challenge is to write 100 of these ficlets! I think I can do it.
